1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website at getailiterate.ai and all related content, tools, and features, including the AI Literacy Assessment, newsletter, downloadable resources, and journal (collectively, the “Site”). The Site is operated by Frederick L. Faulkner IV (“Get AI Literate”, “GAIL”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), located in Illinois, United States.

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Site. By using the Site, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. The AI Literacy Assessment

The AI Literacy Assessment, including all scores, peer comparisons, and personalized recommendations, is provided for informational and educational purposes only. Results are estimates based on the responses you provide and are not a professional, academic, or psychometric evaluation. You should not rely on the assessment as the sole basis for any educational, professional, or financial decision.

4. Educational Content and No Professional Advice

The journal, downloadable resources, newsletter, and other materials on the Site are general educational content about AI literacy. They do not constitute professional, legal, financial, or technical advice. You are responsible for evaluating the suitability of any information for your own circumstances.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or related systems;

  • Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content except as permitted under “Intellectual Property.”

6. User Submissions

If you submit content to the Site (for example, comments, contact form messages, assessment responses, or feedback survey responses), you represent that you have the right to do so. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and process that content for the purpose of operating and improving the Site and conducting anonymized research as described in our Privacy Policy. We may remove any content at our discretion.

Testimonials. If you opt in through our feedback survey to share a quote, you grant us permission to publish that quote — in whole or in part — as a testimonial in our marketing and on the Site. We will attribute it only as you permit: anonymously, or by your year in school and major/field of study. We will not attach your name or contact information to a published testimonial. You may ask us to remove a published testimonial at any time by contacting us at privacy@getailiterate.ai.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, the GAIL name and brand, the 7-Pillar framework, assessment questions, and downloadable resources — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Downloadable resources are provided for your personal, non-commercial use unless we state otherwise. The Site may contain links to third-party websites or rely on third-party services. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties. Accessing them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
